Green Thinking at Paloma Summit Condominium Rentals

This program gives our employees and residents an opportunity to collaborate with each other to achieve a common set of philanthropic goals. Through Sequoia's partnership with the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life program our apartment communities develop teams, fundraise together, and participate in local relay events. Since 2009, Sequoia Equities has raised nearly $200,000.00 for the American Cancer Society to help in their fight against cancer.

Sequoia recently made some major changes to our company's maintenance and operational practices to promote a cleaner way of living and working. As a company, we have made significant investments in the following areas:

• Purchase of energy saving appliances at replacement periods
• Use of compact fluorescent light bulbs in all common areas and models
• Reduction of office waste by offering an online application with paperless lease and renewal signing
• Creating smoke-free living environments which prohibit smoking within 25 feet of any building or inside of our apartment homes
